While I agree with the general sentiment, there is a middle solution which is what was done with MoP on several systems expedite alt advancement. You shouldn't get rewards on your alts for doing nothing on them. Not what they would have done if they had it in from the start. That's so lazy, and it being a thing last season was due to how they handled the system. PVP rating isn't account wide, M+ shouldn't be either. How can't you allow to do X upgrades on an item at a time ?Īnd is the M+ rating requirements will be account-wide ? not the lack of multiple upgrades in 1 press of a button. the old model was 100% ruining my gaming experience. If you have a rank 6 out of 12 item, you can't just click on 12 on the drop down menu and upgrade it because you get an error message saying "requires previous rank". I'd assume that because each step requires the previous one, you'd need to change how choices matter so that it checks your current stage, your desired stage and then queue all the sequential upgrades on the button press. I doubt they'd go to the trouble of revamping the UI which is often a constraint in IT projects without first going through all the possible tasks they'd want to improve and I'd assume multiple upgrades at the same time are the most demanded task. The dropdown box has moved to the top of the UI, allowing you to choose what level you want to preview.
